Transmission Input Shafts
We have made a limited run of these super tuff replacement input shafts. Made from top quality stronger material than the original input shafts. Each shaft is custom
machined, hardened, checked for straightness and polished where necessary. Replace that bent, fatigued old shaft. For lengths of all shafts see TECH page 402.

MID ENGINEERING/KELMARK
1991 Clark's Corvair Parts, Inc. bought out the remaining tooling and inventory of Mid Engineering/Kelmark. For Corvairs they had kits for various V6's & V8's. Unlike
Crown's Corv-8 set up (which leaves the Corvair powertrain in the stock location), Mid Engineering swapped it end-for-end
and flipped it upside down. This required a longer input shaft. They also produced the Kelmark GT body which usually
used a Corvair powertrain with a bigger engine. We only have the Manual & shaft.

INPUT SHAFT – V6 & V8 ENGINE TO 1966-69 CORVAIR TRANSAXLE: C8402 5 lbs.
This shaft is made for use with any 1966 through 1969 Corvair 3 or 4-speed transaxle and the special aluminum adaptor bellhousing. This shaft is approximately 1” longer
than a stock shaft (25.50 inches long). Car weight should not exceed 2500 Lbs. and engines should not exceed 250 horsepower or 250 Ft. Lbs. of torque. NO GUARANTEE

CIGARETTE LIGHTER PARTS
If your lighter doesn't work you will probably need the knob and element and/or the metal "socket" that they push into. There were (2) types of lighter units used during
most years. Check yours. We will call them "SOLID" (Rochester) and "SPRING" (Casco) depending on the "knob-element" construction.
