1. ORIGINALITY: Corvair upholstery our specialty. We have made our upholstery just as

original as possible and we make them the same every time.

2. THREAD: We use the best thread available and keep our machines set so they do perfect

stitching – no loose stitching that feels like you could pull it right out. Just like factory

original upholstery we take the time to lock the seams with back stitching.

3. VINYL: We pay for the best 36-38 oz. vinyl available. We also drive the manufacturers

crazy because we expect color matches to equal the original factory samples.

Note: Due to all the environ mental changes over the years and changes in color

preferences some of the base colors are no longer available so we really work closely

with the manufacturer for a close match to the original.

4. FELT: Glued right to the vinyl just like the factory original. This is used in most bucket

seats. It's costly but essential.

5. EMBOSSING: We do all our own embossing and have complete quality control with quality

brass tooling.

6. Our upholstery doesn't sit for months or years in boxes. When we do manage to get

inventory ahead it is placed in large plastic bags and allowed to lay at on shelves.

7. IT FITS! It is really gratifying the number of customers that have installed their own set

and are pleased with their upholstery and themselves! It is especially pleasing when a

customer calls or writes and says they had it professionally installed and the installer told

them "That's the best upholstery kit I've ever installed".

8. TIME: We take about 8 hours start to nish to make your uphol stery set. No mass

production here.

9. We could go on but probably the most important reason is: our employees care and are

rightfully proud of each set of upholstery. They know that our customers expect the best

and they know exactly who produced it ....
